Agra’s investment in Oshakati also includes an agricultural training initiative.
Through Agra ProVision, the company’s professional agricultural training division, it will host a free Farmers’ Information Day on 9 October 2026 focusing on an introduction to free-range poultry.
The event is part of Agra’s corporate social investment activities and is intended to provide farmers with information on free-range poultry production.
Further information is available through the Agra ProVision Facebook page or by contacting Agra ProVision on 061 299 9208.
The new branch also brings local employment and additional economic activity to Oshakati, while providing farmers and other customers in the area with closer access to agricultural supplies and related products.
Agra said it aims to build relationships with farmers, customers and other stakeholders in the Oshakati community as the new branch becomes part of its northern Namibia operations.
